Hyaluronic Acid acts as a binder with water to plump the skin. It’s not absorb into the skin since the molecule is too large to penetrate into the skin. It’s most effective when injected which, off course, is expensive.
Products with collagen are the same. Collagen is great but does nothing when applied topically. The molecule is too large to get into the skin.
Between makeup artists, cosmetic surgery and less worries than most of us…we’d all look great too.
@christine0003009 Mail me and I will be happy to explain everything in detail, I will answer any facial care question you have. Basically cleansers that lather strip the skin of its own oils and dry it out. =)
@PrettyTigerlilly i just read your comment and omg, i was wonderng why lathering cleansers are bad. I’ve never heard of anything like that, I actually heard you have to make a lot of lathers and clean out your face with it, not rubbing your skin with your fingers harshly. you know what i mean? like, massaging very very gently with lathers. now I’m confused, which one is true???
@SiennaVIP it depends on what your skin type is. you might do it every two days but you should not do that more often than that.

@healthyskinnow actually, the fruits they mentioned are wonderful for exfoliation. Pumpkin is used in alot of professional peel lines, the papaya and pineapple are used in professional exfoliates. The enzymes in the fruit acids eat away the dead skin on the surface of your face
@modelinggirlyy if done properly, it is not about reducing pore size, but visibility. When exfoliating on a regular basis, you reduce the amount of dirt and debris that clogs your pores. So they look smaller because they are not dirty and more noticeable
@coffeeprincess709 Depends on your skin type for a lather cleanser, it can be too stripping and over dry someone with already dry skin… Moisture, moisture moisture for some.. lathers for others
@loveallhellokitty NOOOOOO, St ives is the worst thing you can use on your skin, if you had a microscope you would see all the little tears your skin has on it fromt he product
Try aveeno skin brightener. and only exfoliate at night. otherwise you are exposing your new skin to harmful environmental pollutants.
@cocowut Some chemical sunscreens are bad. They have been banned in Europe and Australia as a result from an increase in skin cancer. Natural Sunscreens are best. Only Titanium Dioxide is waterproof and blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays. Zinc Oxide is great also but is water soluble.
@777TylerJB THAT WOULD BE BAD, And exfoliation of one single layer of skin takes about 28 days to shed by itself
@SiennaVIP it is ok, but best to do it at night, since your skin only regenerates while you are sleeping
These are some great tips for skincare. I didn’t know that you should exfoliate two times a week! I wonder if it’s okay to do it more than that?
It doesn’t matter If you exfoliate a million times a week. Dead skin cells are always being shed. Exfoliation is a big myth. Your skin naturally exfoliates.
Really an interesting watch!
@83Pindi
Some sun is good for you, but a lot is actually really bad. It damages the skin and causes melanoma. Chemical sunscreen hasn’t been proven to be bad for you. People put all kinds of chemicals on themselves throughout the day…shampoo, lotion, you name it.
It won’t kill you. lol
@coffeeprincess709 Wrong, wow that is so wrong. Skin cells renew your whole life, but as you age they tend to pile up and you have to manually or chemically remove them by exfoliation or else your skin will look dull. What causes ageing is the loss of collagen and elastin as we get older. Sun, smoking, genetics and poor diet also contribute to ageing. I am an esthetician and I work with a dermatologist. Lathering cleansers are very bad, they remove the skins natural barrier.
